It was so well presented and looked after. Everything was exceptionally clean, neat and tidy. There were very clear instructions for everything that you needed and it was amazing all of the supplies that the owners had available. They had everything you could possibly need!! We have just returned from a weekend in Kyneton and are so happy we booked Isabella for our accommodation. Di our hostess was attentive & friendly & check in/ out was seamless. The property felt welcoming as we stepped through the front door. All the ammenities are high quality & the added extras like the antipasto platter, breakfast provisions, pillow choices to name a few make your stay extra special. We spend a delightful weekend at Isabella in Kyneton. The cottage is well presented, everything is well organised and explanations on how to use the diverse devices around the house makes the stay very smooth and enjoyable. The weather was lovely and the patio at the back was a great spot for a drink and a read mid afternoon.

The cottage is well situated, walking distance to the centre of town, but far enough to be quiet at all times.

Dianne was very helpful and approachable and provided us with information on the Autumn festivals in the Macedon area.

Isabella was very clean and comfortable and everything we could possibly need for our stay was provided. The quality and quantity of the breakfast supplies exceeded our expectations and the bonus grazing board and wine were a nice inclusion. We had a lovely, relaxing, long weekend stay in Isabella’s Cottage. We enjoyed every aspect including: - Amazing host host Dianne, who made sure we had everything we needed, and was great to communicate with. - Generous, quality breakfast provisions, which are tailored to dietary restrictions. I especially appreciated this being gluten intolerant. - Full size kitchen with everything you need, including condiments, spreads, oil, foil, etc - Quiet street with no problem parking - Great location, walking distance from Kyneton’s cafes, restaurants and shops - Nice outdoor area, which was great for breakfast, and dinner on warm summer days - Everything we needed was provided, including handy things like sunscreen - Useful information on things to do was provided online before hand - It was nice to have a whole house to ourselves, so had plenty of space, not like some smaller places Of course we can’t wait to stay again. Breakfast exceeded our expectations - i was thinking it would be cereal and white toast. But were surprised to have locally made crumpets and jam, with fresh eggs and bacon which we all enjoyed! Having a washing machine is always a bonus when travelling. Lots of clean linen, eg towels and robes which was lovely. My sister ended up staying one night as well as there are 3 bedrooms which made the last minute choice easy. We notified Di in the morning and she adjusted the rate easily. Nice to have that choice when you need it and there was enough food for us all to enjoy a cooked breakfast.

There wasn't anything i didn't like about the property - it was clean and tidy and the host Di was easily reachable when we needed her and resolved our issue very quickly so we were very happy with our stay. The bed was slightly too hard for our liking - but understand that a lot of people like hard mattresses etc so not really an issue. Maria Booking.com March 2024

We were very happy to have a range of breakfast foods and condiments (including gluten free by special request) available for us to use in the cottage and included in the tariff. The cottage was well located on a pretty street (a very short walk to all the lovely cafes, restaurants and shops in Piper Street), very clean, quick and easy to heat with both a gas fire and ducted heating, and well prepared with items and quality amenities for up to six guests. I loved the personalized attention to our requirements for breakfast, and the follow up emails that made me feel welcome and attended to. The history of the house is a bonus and makes you feel like you're getting a private tour of another time.
